Moving house

ついこの間引越ししました。

こんな感じの家です。

ちょうど、大学とcity centerの中間にあって仕事にも少し行きやすくなった感があります。

ハウスメイトのポーランド人とスペイン人も相変わらずいい人そうでした。

忘れんようにここに名前かいておこっと、

前見たエストニア人の彼は国に帰ったそうです。次は誰が来るのか、、、

ここには３ヶ月半くらいお世話になる予定です。部屋の写真もflickrにupしといたんでチェキってください。

一昨日は留学生のfarewell partyがありました。

最後のパーティーやから結構人が来てました。最後にみんなに会えてよかったよ。

また何人かとも連絡先交換できて、夏に行くあてが増えそうです。

久しぶりのパーティー、楽しかったです。企画してくれたみんな、ありがとうね。

次の日、二日酔いの中で働くのはちとしんどかったです。

Crazy vending machine

Yesterday, on my way home. I bought a 7up at the vending machine on campus.
I gave the machine 2 euro coins and they gave me 1.1 euro for the change.

but, they gave me two 20 cent coins and ten 5 cent coins.
It's not usual and was so disgusting.

Today, I started packing up my luggage.

I didn't have lots of stuffs so it didn't take long time. It's almost done.
I'm gonna clean up my room and the living room tomorrow, then I'll move to next place the day after tomorrow.

After packing my luggage, I went shopping for dinner and I came across some Japanese friends who are going back to Japan tomorrow.


They offered me a lots of foods (お茶漬け、焼肉のたれ、パスタソースその他調味料もろもろ) and stuffs which are leftovers.
It was very good for me and I won't need to buy any goods for a while.


Some friends are already gone back to the countrues and many of them will go back to each country very soon. I really miss them.




There are only a few days left...

Hotate

やっと６連勤が終わりました。

今週は、引越ししてお別れpartyがあって少しだけ新しい環境での生活が始まります。
前にも書いたけど、今度はポーランド人とエストニア人、スペイン人とハウスシェアします。

彼らは概してやさしそうやったので、まあトラブルはなさそうです。


そろそろパッキングに部屋の掃除、諸手続きをしなければ、、、


題名の Hotateは、今日お客さんにHotate(scallop)って何？って聞かれただけです。
自分もちゃんと答えられるように日々勉強ですね。　ああ、なんか面白いことないかな～


あ、最近時間があるときにFriendsはじめから見始めました。

Finally,

all the exams and essays of this semester are over.

Now, I have a long long long summer holiday.
I don't know if it's a good thing or bad.
I have a holiday but all of the international friends are going back to each country.

I have to visit them as much as possible.

This week, I had some parties and I'll have some parties next week as well.
It will be the farewell party.
But, expept that, I have nothing special thesedays.


I need something special.


I really think about what I'm gonna do during the summer...



Thesedays I work 4 or 5 days per week.
I'm not sure but now I'm employed oficially.

and I decided to go to Spain as well in June.
I really looking forward to visiting Austria and Spain.



さあ、長い夏休みの始まりです。

home party

今週もすでに金曜日、授業がないと無駄にだらけてしまうからいかん、、、

そういえば昨日は我がフラットでちょっとしたホームパーティーみたいなのがありました。

フラットメイトの日本人がorganizeしてくれてスペイン人や、メキシカンの人に日本料理をごちそうしました。（俺はほとんど何もやってません

俺も何か作らないと悪い気がしたのでおかんが送ってくれたcookdoを使ってチンジャオロースを作りました。中華料理ってことぐらい分かってます。

ここ最近おなかが一杯になるまでご飯を食べたことがなかった俺は大量のご馳走に幸せ一杯でした。

また彼らと話していて、早くスペインという国に行ってみたいと思いました。

あっ、話は変わりますが。夏休み充実化計画の第一弾として６月の初旬にウィーンに行ってきます。

さあ果たしてこの一年間に何カ国まわれるか、、、楽しみです。

今日からバイト4連勤です。一人でも多くのお客さんに日本の素晴らしさを伝え、

一ユーロでも多くのチップを置いていってもらえるように頑張ります。

Mass

Today is May bank holiday so school is off.

I went to a Mass with some friends yesterday.

This was the second time for me. The first one was when I was 13 in Utah, United States.

The first one was the Mass of Mormonism. It was solemn mass. Therefore I was expecting a solemn Mass this time as well.

But, It was totally different from my expectation. It was a Mass of Roman Catholic but there were the gospel. All the attendance sang and clapped. It was not like a Mass.

Sometimes the atmosphere suddenly changed and the Mass became solemn one.

People seemed to look back over the last week or the past, think these things over and get the power of life.

As you know, Christianity have been affecting the great power to the western or whole world.

People are getting less religious but we cannot close our eyes to that.

Yesterday was the good opportunity to experience that.

今日はバンクホリデーなので学校は休みです。

私は、昨日、一部の友人とミサに行きました。
これは、私のための第2の時間でした。最初のものは、私がユタ（アメリカ合衆国）の13であった時でした。
最初のものは、モルモン教のミサでした。それは、厳粛なミサでした。したがって、私は同様に今度は、厳粛なミサを予想していました。

しかし、Itは私の予想と全く異なりました。それはローマのカトリックのミサでした、しかし、ゴスペルがありました。全ての出席は歌って、拍手しました。それは、ミサのようではありませんでした。

時々、空気は突然変わりました、そして、ミサは厳粛なものになりました。
人々は、最後の週または過去を振り返って、これらをよく考えて、生命の力を得るようでした。

御存知の通り、キリスト教は西であるか全世界に、強国に影響を及ぼしていました。
人々はより信心深くなっていません、しかし、我々はそれの前で我々の目を閉じることができません。
昨日は、それを経験する良い機会でした。

テスト前のstudy periodの週末。



～金曜日～

オーストリア人のクリスとドイツ人のアヒムと、１，２杯だけビールを飲むつもりでcity centerへ。
最初の一杯はお洒落なカフェバーでギネス、ではなく他のビールで乾杯。

色々話してビールがなくなった頃に場所を変えるために移動。
２件目のパブに入ろうとするが、入り口のセキュリティーに
｢他のところで飲んだか？｣と聞かれ、Ｎｏと言おうとしたその時


正直者のアヒムはyesと言ってしまった。



結局そのパブには入れてもらえず、どうしようかと悩んでいたらバイト先の人とばったり遭遇。
ちょうどパーティーの買出しに来ていたらしく、良かったら来ないかという話。


もちろんお邪魔しました。


知ってる人なんかいないと思ってお邪魔したら、そこにはＤＣＵロッククライミング仲間のキルランが、、、世界って狭いな～と改めて感じました。

結局１，２杯のつもりが夜中の２時過ぎまで。まあいっか

～土曜日～

この日はスパニッシュの友達のBirthday party。
個人的にはスパニッシュのパーティーが一番好きなので始まる前からテンションもやや上がり気味↑

彼女は英語のクラスで一緒やったんやけど、最初はスペイン語のなまりがめっちゃ強くて聞き取るのも大変やったけど今日話したときは普通に？なってたからちょっと感動したね。　で当たり前かも知れんけどネイティブと話してるときが一番勉強になるな～って再認識したね、このパーティーで。

さあ俺もバイリンガル目指して頑張るか！

今日（日曜日は）、別に俺カトリックじゃないけど、友達についてミサに行ってきます。

House seeking

Hello, this is Tottsuan.

I'm on my studying period before examination. I have to write an essay about comparison of Chinese culture and Japanese culture so now I'm looking for some good reference.
and I have an Oral examination as well. I have to do role-play conversation with my Irish partner. That's what I have to do now.

By the way, I'm gonna talk about house seeking in Dublin today.
There are several ways to seek private accommodations. For example...

1. web site
2. notice board of University or anywhere
3. newspaper

It's quite similar to Japanese case but I guess the most different point is that House-sharing is the most common style here. I'm gonna share house with 4 other people.
The rate is E400(64,000 yen) per month. I think it's average rate. Actually, the price is going up gradually because of Celtic tiger. so I think the rate will be a bit higher in a future.

But, I'd say that it's not difficult to find accommodation in Dublin.
I'm looking forward to living with them.
