classes and flat mates

I don't know why but I couldn't open my blog during the last few days.

Anyway, the first week of semester 1 ended and finally all the flatmates came. I'm sharing with 2 Irish guys, 1 american guy and 1 Spanish guy this semester. THey are all cool. I really like the apartment. This is a student apartment so there are parties everywhere every single night.

I take more lectures this semester than I did last semester.
I take whatever I'm interested in. The followings are these;

Contemporary Irish society
researching the characteristic of Irish society

Contemporary U.S. business and society
dealing with the issue of 'politics and money'

The emergence of Modern America
analyzing the history of U.S.

Foreign Policy
analyzing the policy-making and so on...

Eu policy and politics
focusing on the development of Europe union.

Advanced English

some peofessor have strong Irish accent so it's really hard to catch the imformation but I hope by the end of the semester I'll be used to it. I think I'm living a good life now. so guys, see you later.

やっと、長い夏休みが終わり学校がスタートしました。

これは僕の留学生活の2/3が終わったことを意味します。
この前の日曜日に引越しをして、今週一杯はオリエンテーションウィークでした。

夏休みの間、バイト仲間とダブリンに残った数人のアイリッシュが僕の数少ない絡み相手だったので久しぶりの学校は新鮮でした。今年もいろんな国から留学生がきてました。僕は今のところたまたま席が近かったギリシャ人のグル－プや、ドイツ人と戯れています。どうも僕は、ヨーロピアンの中ではドイツ人やオーストリア人といると落ち着けるみたいです。

今のところ5人中3人しか、自分のフラットには人が来ていません。アイリッシュとアメリカンの野郎がフラットメイトです。

来週からは授業がはじまります。俺は前の反省を生かしてがっつり勉強していくつもりです。今のところいいスタートが切れたみたい。バイトは出来る限り続けようと思います。これからは週4にしてもらいました。

今回はじめてあったギリシャ人のせいで、俺の中でもともとちょーーーーーっとだけあったギリシャ行きたい熱がじわじわ過熱しつつあります。

なんかまとまりの無い文章ですが、最近の俺はこんなかんじです。

Finally,

I moved on campus. That was so long summer holiday and now the summer is over.

I could enjoy the summer quite a lot. I worked a lot and made lots of trips. The one thing which was missing for me was studying. I din't really study during the summer.
but I think that's okey. I have to study from next week without any choice anyway.

Today is the first day to be allowed to move in so only me and one Irish guy are in our flat. There supposed to be 3 more people coming later. He looks nice guy so I need to talk with him a lot tomorrow. I'm in my room now but it's too quiet. There is no cars or horses running outside.

The orientation starts from tomorrow. I'm really excited now.

Now I have a terrible hang over from the party of last night and muscle pains from the work so i think I'll go to bed soon.

夏休み最後の旅はスコットランドへ。

Ryan airのセールの時に飛行機のチケットを買ったこともあり、飛行機代はわずか３円。
Glasgowに着いてからまずは電車でEdinburghへ。

そこで事件はおこった。

電車の中での出来事、、

移動中、俺の後ろの席に坐ったぱっとみ変な男が俺の席に殴る蹴るなどの暴行を加え、何度も席から身を乗り出して俺のほうを見て来るわけ。でも俺はずっと気にせず坐っていた。

電車がEdinburghについてからも、男は俺のあとをしっかりつけてくる。なので俺は特に用も無かったが近くの薬局へ避難。しかし男は外から俺のほうを見ている。非常に気持ちが悪い。
10分以上粘ったあと、ついにその男が店の中に入り俺のほうへ近づいてくる。

ヤベー、何かされる。と思ったが、意外にも彼の口から出た一言が

「Great! man.」

そう言って彼は去っていった。俺の頭は？でいっぱいだった。
彼は何がしたかったのか、、、

そんな出来事も去り、気を取り直してエジンバラ観光。

この街は本当に美しかった。メインのエジンバラ城をはじめ、それを取り囲むold town、その反対側のnew town、これらのかもし出す雰囲気が素晴らしかった。街が世界遺産に指定されているだけはある。

Edinburgh城は城の中にいくつも博物館があり全部見るのにかなりの時間がかかった。
その後、ぶらぶら街を歩き次の日は再度グラスゴーへ。

Glasgowはでかい街だったが特に見るところもなく、時間をもてあましてしまったので無駄にツアーバスに２周乗ってしまった。

まあ、ショッピングするにはいいところだろうな～と思った。

そんなこんなで１泊２日のスコットランド旅行も終わり。


行く前はScotish Englishってどんなんやろう思ってたけど、俺が思うにあまり単語をはっきり発音しん感じがした。つなげてつなげてって感じ。やから聞き取りにくいんかな。

でも、道を聞けばみんな親切に教えてくれたし一つ以外は何のトラブルも無かったから満足満足。

来週には学校の寮にまた戻るし、いよいよ授業も始まる。

It's already September! That means 7 month have passed since I arrived at Dublin.
Time goes by so quickly and there are only 5 month left in my studying abroad period.

After the travel of Northern Europe, I work as usual and sometimes go for a pint with my friends. There is nothing special except 2 things.

Lots of my colleague are leaving. Because most of them are student so they go back to school or start another studying. It's kinda sad. But many new people are coming instead. I hope all of them are cool guys.

A friend of mine is visiting Ireland for a month. It's good to hear from her what's going on among my friends in Japan.

These are new things about my life.

Today I put a cool and funny Irish pub music on my blog. it's gas!
